Qualifying for HIPP

The Alaska HIPP program is offered to Medicaid recipients and their families who have access to group health insurance through a job or COBRA.

Other requirements:

• The employer sponsored health insurance that includes comprehensive medical coverage must cover at least one (1) Medicaid or Denali KidCare recipient
• List of insurance policy tiers and rates provided by the employer
• Medicaid recipient(s) names and Medicaid ID numbers(s)
• It must be cost effective for the State to enroll you in HIPP
• Dental only, Vision only, and or Audio only policies are not eligible for HIPP program consideration.
